Duties:

• Collaborate with senior litigators to devise and implement litigation strategies in defense of medical malpractice actions
• Draft and review pleadings, discovery, legal memos, briefs, and other essential litigation documents
• Analyze medical records about legal cases
• Represent clients in court proceedings
• Participate in depositions, hearings, and legal conferences
• Engage with medical experts to strengthen case arguments
• Conduct in-depth legal and medical research
• Prepare motions for filing in court
• Manage client relationships, offering counsel and maintaining confidence
• Work cohesively within a team to ensure successful case outcomes

Requirements:

• Active admission to practice law in New York
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in medical malpractice or healthcare litigation

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in New York
