Job Overview: A law firm seeks a Healthcare Litigation Associate Attorney with 2-4 years of experience to join its team in Princeton, NJ. The ideal candidate will possess excellent academic credentials, strong research and writing skills, and be admitted to practice in New Jersey. Preferably, the candidate should also be eligible to waive into Pennsylvania.

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on healthcare litigation matters.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Assist with all discovery phases, including drafting and responding to discovery requests.
  • Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, and trials.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and development.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in healthcare litigation or related field.
  • Previous professional liability, medical malpractice, and general liability experience preferred.
  • Excellent academic credentials from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice in New Jersey.
  • Preferably eligible to waive into Pennsylvania.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the New Jersey State Bar.
  • Eligibility to waive into the Pennsylvania State Bar (preferred).

Skills:

  • Strong research and writing skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
