Job Overview

A prominent law firm in Atlanta is seeking an Associate Attorney with a minimum of two years’ experience in commercial real estate finance. The successful candidate will work within the Real Estate Finance & Capital Markets team, representing lenders, servicers, and investors in a variety of complex commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) transactions. This role offers an opportunity to be part of a nationally recognized practice group within a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Duties

  • Represent lenders, servicers, and investors in commercial real estate finance transactions, with a focus on CMBS loans
  • Draft and review documents related to commercial real estate finance transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Conduct due diligence and provide legal guidance throughout various stages of commercial real estate transactions
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and practice groups to provide comprehensive legal support on client matters
  • Maintain client relationships and work closely with clients to achieve their business and legal objectives

Requirements

  • At least two years of experience in commercial real estate finance, particularly with CMBS loans
  • Strong academic credentials and a demonstrated commitment to excellence in the practice of law
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Desire to contribute to a collaborative team and develop expertise in real estate finance law

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia, or eligibility for admission
