Job Overview:

A highly respected law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its Estate Planning and Elder Law practice at its Tri-Cities location. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative and growth-focused environment, serving clients in Washington and Idaho. The ideal candidate will have experience in estate planning, tax, probate, and trust administration, with a commitment to excellence and client service.

Location:

  • Kennewick, WA

Duties:

  • Provide legal support in the areas of Estate Planning, Tax, Probate, Trust Administration, Business, and Real Estate.

  • Collaborate with clients to create comprehensive estate plans tailored to their needs.

  • Assist in managing probate and trust administration processes.

  • Draft legal documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.

  • Advise clients on tax implications and business-related matters within estate planning.

  • Work closely with senior attorneys and staff to deliver high-quality legal services.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years of experience in Estate Planning, Tax, Probate, Trust Administration, Business, and Real Estate.

  • Elder Law and Medicaid experience are not required but would be a plus.

  • Must be licensed to practice law in Washington State.

  • Strong communication and client interaction skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Professionalism, a strong work ethic, and a dedication to continuous growth.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Must be licensed to practice law in Washington State.

Skills:

  • Expertise in Estate Planning, Tax, Probate, Trust Administration, Business, and Real Estate law.

  • Strong writing, drafting, and legal research skills.
