A law firm in Troy, is seeking a White Collar Defense and Investigations Associate Attorney with 22 years of experience. The ideal candidate will work closely with experienced lawyers who will provide active mentoring and opportunities for increasing responsibility and client contact. This role requires a self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team, with strong academic credentials, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering the highest quality client service.

Duties:

• Assist in white collar defense and investigations, including handling regulatory proceedings and conducting internal investigations.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Work closely with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide support in complex legal matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support ongoing investigations and defense strategies.
• Collaborate with clients to gather information, provide legal advice, and manage case-related tasks.
• Prepare and participate in client meetings, hearings, and other legal proceedings.
• Manage multiple cases and projects, ensuring timely and accurate completion of legal tasks.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends.

Requirements:

• 22 years of experience in white collar defense, investigations, or regulatory proceedings.
• Proven experience in drafting and reviewing legal documents.
• Strong academic credentials with a commitment to excellence.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Self-starter with a proactive approach to legal work and client service.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
