Job Overview: A respected North Jersey law firm is seeking a Workers' Compensation Attorney to join their Teaneck office. This full-time role involves managing a caseload from start to finish, focusing on workers' compensation cases and personal injury matters. Ideal candidates will have at least one year of relevant experience and be passionate about providing top-notch client representation in a collaborative environment.

Location:

  • Teaneck, NJ

Duties:

  • Manage a caseload of workers' compensation cases from commencement through resolution.
  • Represent clients in various stages of workers' compensation claims, including hearings and negotiations.
  • Assist with personal injury cases, including motor vehicle and premises liability, as needed.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents related to workers' compensation and personal injury matters.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court to advocate for clients' best interests.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in workers' compensation and/or personal injury law.
  • Ability to handle a caseload independently and effectively.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills for client representation.
  • Knowledge of personal injury law, particularly motor vehicle and premises liability, is a plus.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership with the New Jersey State Bar.
  • Admission to the New York State Bar is a plus but not required.

Skills:

  • Proficient in case management, legal research, and document preparation.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
