A law firm in Fort Lauderdale, FL, is seeking a skilled and motivated Attorney with a focus on business, real estate (excluding foreclosure), or construction litigation. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of handling complex litigation matters from complaint through trial. Evidence of notable academic achievement, such as law review, high class rank, or a judicial clerkship, is preferred. Excellent research and writing skills are essential for this role.

Duties:

• Manage and oversee litigation matters from initiation through trial, including drafting and filing complaints, motions, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in court, handle depositions, and participate in settlement negotiations.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies and arguments.
• Prepare detailed and persuasive written reports, briefs, and legal memoranda.
• Collaborate with clients, opposing counsel, and expert witnesses to build and present cases effectively.
• Review and analyze complex legal documents and evidence to identify key issues.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on various business, real estate, and construction matters.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends impacting practice areas.
• Manage case timelines, ensure compliance with procedural rules, and coordinate with support staff.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of litigation experience with a focus on business, real estate (excluding foreclosure), or construction litigation.
• Proven track record of managing cases from complaint through trial.
• Evidence of notable academic achievement preferred (e.g., law review, high class rank, judicial clerkship).
• Excellent research and writing skills are required.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
