Associate Attorney - General Litigation

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join its General Litigation practice group in Wilmington, Delaware. Duties:

• Manage various litigation cases, focusing on intellectual property and trade secrets.
• Draft legal documents, including complaints, answers, discovery requests, motions, and briefs.
• Participate actively in the litigation process, including taking and defending depositions.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and arguments.
• Communicate effectively with clients, co-counsel, and court personnel.

Requirements:

• 4 to 6 years of litigation experience, particularly in intellectual property law.
• Strong writing skills for drafting various legal documents.
• Experience practicing in the District of Delaware is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to take and defend depositions.
• Excellent research abilities and strong oral communication skills.
• Must be admitted to the Delaware Bar or willing to take the Delaware Bar exam.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Delaware Bar license.
