A law firm in Greenville, SC, is seeking a Personal Injury Attorney to join their team.

Job Overview:

• Handle personal injury cases from inception to resolution, including client communication, depositions, research, mediations, case strategy development, and trial representation.

Duties:

• Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on case progress and addressing their concerns.
• Take and defend depositions of witnesses and experts.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Lead mediations to negotiate favorable settlements for clients.
• Develop comprehensive case strategies tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials, as necessary.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience practicing personal injury or civil litigation.
• Licensed and in good standing with the South Carolina State Bar.
• Proven experience drafting and responding to motions.
• Thorough knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the South Carolina State Bar.
