Job Overview:

This role will involve a variety of transactional real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in real estate law, an exceptional academic record, and experience working in a fast-paced law firm environment.

Duties:

  • Handle a wide range of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing.
  • Provide legal guidance and support to clients in both the residential and commercial real estate sectors.
  • Draft and review various real estate agreements, documents, and contracts.
  • Conduct legal research to support transactions and client needs.
  • Collaborate with other departments and attorneys within the firm on related legal matters.
  • Manage multiple client relationships while ensuring high-quality service and timely delivery of work product.
  • Negotiate deal terms and manage the closing process for complex real estate transactions.

Requirements:

  • Experience in real estate law, particularly in transactional matters such as acquisitions, leasing, and financing.
  • Proven experience in managing real estate transactions from start to finish.
  • Strong legal research and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A track record of handling complex legal matters in a busy law firm or corporate environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active bar membership in the state of Illinois.
