Pre-Litigation Attorney

Position Title: Pre-Litigation Attorney (Personal Injury)

Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a skilled and proactive Pre-Litigation Attorney with a focus on personal injury cases. This role involves overseeing and negotiating settlements within a busy docket of pre-litigation cases, working collaboratively with a dedicated support team, and providing an excellent standard of client care.

Duties

• Manage the negotiation and settlement process for a high-volume caseload of personal injury claims
• Collaborate closely with intake teams, medical record clerks, lien specialists, paralegals, and other legal support staff
• Ensure effective and detailed organization of case files throughout the negotiation and settlement phases
• Conduct regular client communication to provide updates and address inquiries
• Interact with adjusters, clients, and legal team members by phone and in person to facilitate case progress

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience handling personal injury cases, specifically in pre-litigation
• Strong negotiation skills with proven results in achieving favorable settlements
• Exceptional organizational abilities with attention to detail in case management
• Advanced proficiency in legal databases, computer systems, and analytical tools

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active membership and good standing with the California State Bar
