Job Title: Lateral Associate Attorney

Duties:

• Manage and support commercial litigation cases from inception through resolution.
• Conduct discovery, including managing document review and preparation of discovery responses.
• Take and defend depositions, and draft related pleadings.
• Provide strategic advice and litigation support to clients.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on trial preparation and courtroom appearances.
• Draft and review legal documents, motions, and other litigation-related materials.
• Work closely with clients and stakeholders to ensure case objectives are met.
• Engage in regular communication with clients regarding case status and legal strategy.

Requirements:

• Experience in commercial litigation.
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex legal matters and litigation processes.
• Strong experience with discovery, depositions, and drafting pleadings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• In-depth understanding of litigation practices and procedures.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Bar admission in Florida (or eligibility to gain admission promptly).

• Strong research and analytical abilities.
• Effective oral communication and client interaction skills.
