Mid-level Corporate and Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Wilmington, DE is seeking a Mid-level Corporate and Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney with experience in corporate and/or commercial litigation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on litigation experience, including courtroom experience and deposition practice. Experience with litigation involving special committees is a plus.

Duties:

• Handle corporate and commercial litigation matters, including cases in Delaware Court of Chancery, Superior Court, and the District of Delaware.
• Prepare for and conduct depositions, as well as defend depositions.
• Manage discovery and eDiscovery processes.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Assist with trials and potentially class actions.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Delaware.
• Mid-level experience in corporate and commercial litigation.
• Experience with deposition preparation and courtroom advocacy.
• Familiarity with Delaware Court of Chancery procedures and litigation practices.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in drafting legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
