Duties:

  • Represent clients in workers’ compensation defense and third-party subrogation litigation.
  • Manage a caseload with a focus on delivering high-quality legal services.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research to support case strategies.
  • Attend hearings, depositions, and court appearances as needed.
  • Collaborate with clients to provide updates and develop case strategies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of litigation, third-party subrogation, or workers’ compensation experience.
  • Ability to manage hearings, court appearances, and client communications effectively.
  • Flexibility to work in-office at least three days per week for part-time roles.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in Connecticut.

Skills:

  • Expertise in workers’ compensation and subrogation litigation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
