Duties:

  • Draft and file wills, trusts, and powers of attorney for clients.
  • Provide consultation services for clients regarding the distribution of their assets.
  • Develop strategic legal plans to address and solve clients' estate planning needs.
  • Collaborate with paralegals and senior attorneys to facilitate the estate planning and probate process.
  • Organize and maintain comprehensive and up-to-date client files.
  • Assist clients in navigating estate administration processes, including probate and trust administration.
  • Support business owners in creating succession plans for their companies.
  • Handle guardianship and conservatorship proceedings as required.

Requirements:

  • Active membership with the American Bar Association (ABA).
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in estate planning, probate law, or related legal fields.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Strong knowledge of estate planning tools such as wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
  • Familiarity with title insurance, residential and commercial real estate law, and property management.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly in dealing with sensitive or emotional situations.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Undergraduate degree with a legal background.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the American Bar Association (ABA).

Skills:
