Duties:

• Case Analysis:

  • Review and assess potential employment law cases to evaluate the strength of evidence and legal standards.
  • Determine case viability and make recommendations on whether to proceed with litigation or settle.

• Legal Research:

  • Conduct thorough legal research to support case evaluations, ensuring recommendations are based on sound legal principles.

• Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure thorough and efficient case evaluation processes.

• Ethical Compliance:

  • Ensure all case evaluations adhere to ethical standards and comply with applicable employment laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active bar license in California and in good standing.
• 2+ years of experience in employment law case evaluation or related legal experience.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to evaluate evidence and legal claims.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports and communicating findings.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the California State Bar.
