Job Overview:
A reputable law firm is seeking a Family Law Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will work closely with Family Law partners, providing legal support on various family law matters. The position offers the opportunity to represent clients in critical legal proceedings, draft legal documents, and deliver expert advice, all within a collaborative and professional environment.

Location:

  • Charlotte, NC

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research using resources such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts
  • Represent clients during calendar calls and pre-trial motions
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on family law matters
  • Draft legal articles for publication
  • Review and analyze legal documents for accuracy and compliance

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  • Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Proficient in legal administrative tasks and procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admitted to practice law in the jurisdiction of North Carolina (or in the process of admission)
