• Identify pleading requirements and delegate tasks to paralegals when necessary.
• Draft and manage discovery responses, ensuring accuracy in document production.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery-related events, providing detailed reports.
• Lead settlement negotiations, secure necessary authority, and prepare for trial as required.
• Collaborate regularly with paralegals and legal assistants to maintain workflow and efficiency.

Requirements:

• 1-5 years of litigation experience.
• 1-3 years of prior insurance defense encouraged
• Must be licensed to practice law in South Carolina.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and staff.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and eager to learn new software as needed.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• South Carolina Bar License required.
