A prestigious law firm located in San Diego is seeking an experienced Labor and Employment Associate Attorney to join its expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven legal professional with a solid background in employment law to take on significant responsibility and contribute to a dynamic practice.

Duties:

• Represent clients in labor and employment matters, including litigation and case preparation before both state and federal agencies and courts.

• Attend hearings, depositions, and trials with minimal supervision.

• Draft, review, and respond to discovery requests and motions.

• Prepare and manage case files, ensuring all deadlines and obligations are met.

• Offer expert legal advice on matters related to State and Federal fair employment laws, wage and hour laws, FMLA, and other related laws.

• Maintain a proactive and solution-oriented approach in managing cases.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience as a practicing employment litigator.

• Strong knowledge of labor and employment law, including state and federal fair employment laws, wage-hour laws, FMLA, and similar regulations.

• Proven experience preparing for and participating in trials and hearings.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, courts, and colleagues.

Education:

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the California State Bar.

Skills:

• Expertise in labor and employment litigation.

• Ability to manage casework independently and effectively.

• Strong research and analytical skills.

• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
