Associate Attorney Insurance Defense

Duties:

• Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft detailed legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and discovery requests.
• Develop case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys and contribute to overall litigation processes.
• Represent clients during court proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Prepare for and conduct depositions, witness interviews, and consultations with clients.
• Engage in settlement negotiations to achieve optimal resolutions for clients.
• Stay informed about legal developments and industry trends affecting insurance defense.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development activities to refine skills and expertise.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance defense litigation or related fields.
• Solid understanding of litigation procedures and relevant legal principles.
• Proven experience in courtroom appearances, depositions, and negotiations.
• Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously with exceptional organizational skills.
• A proactive and team-oriented approach to achieving client and organizational goals.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Florida Bar.
