Real Estate Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Denver, CO, is seeking a Real Estate Litigation Associate Attorney to bolster its litigation team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in civil litigation, with a preference for experience in areas such as eminent domain, condemnation, land use, leasing, landlord/tenant issues, and other real estate matters related to both public and privately owned property.

Duties:

• Represent clients in real estate litigation matters, including eminent domain, condemnation, and government takings.
• Handle cases related to land use, leasing, and landlord/tenant disputes.
• Manage all phases of litigation, including case preparation, discovery, motion practice, and trial.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Conduct legal research and provide strategic legal advice to clients.
• Engage in negotiations and settlement discussions to resolve disputes effectively.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, providing updates and managing expectations.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in real estate litigation or related areas.
• Strong civil litigation background with experience in eminent domain, condemnation, and land use preferred.
• Proven ability to manage complex litigation cases and deliver superior client service.

Education:

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Colorado Bar license preferred.
