While clerkship experience is preferred, candidates must be admitted and actively barred in both the state where they reside and in California.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in litigation matters related to consumer financial services in state and federal courts.
  • Conduct thorough legal research, analysis, and case preparation to provide effective legal counsel.
  • Draft a wide variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Appear in court to argue motions, attend hearings, and participate in trials.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop litigation strategies and objectives.
  • Offer legal advice and guidance on regulatory compliance within the consumer financial services industry.
