Job Overview:
A law firm is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Commercial Real Estate Attorney to join its Real Estate Practice Group. This position offers an opportunity to work with a team of experienced real estate attorneys, representing commercial lenders, private developers, companies with real estate needs, and large landowners. The selected candidate will play an integral role in managing complex real estate transactions and gaining exposure to high-profile cases.

Location:

  • Winston Salem, NC

Duties:

  • Represent commercial lenders, developers, landowners, and businesses with real estate needs.
  • Manage and advise on general transactional real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, leases, and financing.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate real estate agreements and documents.
  • Work on complex commercial real estate transactions independently and with the support of senior attorneys.
  • Collaborate with clients and other legal professionals to meet clients' real estate needs.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance throughout the life cycle of commercial real estate transactions.

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of general transactional real estate experience.
  • Strong understanding of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, financing, leasing, and development.
  • Ability to independently manage complex real estate transactions.
  • Excellent academic credentials and references.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be licensed or eligible for immediate licensure in the state where the candidate practices (Arizona or California).
  • Ability to handle a high volume of work while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of practice (Arizona or California).

Skills:

  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage complex real estate transactions independently.
  • Experience with commercial real estate deals, including lease agreements and financing.
  • Familiarity with real estate law and related legal requirements.
