Associate Attorney Litigation

Duties

• Represent clients in civil litigation matters, focusing on defense-oriented cases.
• Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Manage case progression through pre-trial, trial, and resolution stages.
• Advocate effectively for clients during depositions, hearings, mediations, and courtroom proceedings.
• Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and experts to develop and execute case strategies.
• Maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication and updates.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-6 years of experience practicing law, particularly in litigation.
• Strong courtroom and advocacy experience.
• Excellent research and writing skills with attention to detail.
• Goal-oriented and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in civil litigation, premises liability, personal injury, construction defect litigation, cyber security, and other insurance defense work.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse caseload efficiently.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active licensure to practice law in the state of Texas.
