Duties:

  • Manage a diverse caseload involving general liability defense, including but not limited to:
    • Premises liability
    • Automobile accident claims
    • Intentional tort claims
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis using platforms such as Westlaw.
  • Draft, review, and revise legal documents, including pleadings and motions.
  • Represent clients in court and during mediation sessions.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop effective litigation strategies.
  • Maintain strong communication with clients, keeping them informed of case progress.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-7 years of experience in insurance defense or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of liability law and litigation procedures.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple cases efficiently and meet deadlines.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active state bar license in good standing.

Skills:

  • Proficient in legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw).
