Location:

Duties:

  • Focus on transactional and regulatory work related to the 1940 Act, including IAA and ICA.
  • Provide legal counsel and guidance on market regulation matters.
  • Draft and review documents related to regulatory compliance.
  • Advise clients on investment advisory and investment company matters.
  • Work with internal teams and external clients to ensure compliance with the relevant regulations.
  • Opportunity to supplement a book of business or work in a part-time capacity, depending on experience and qualifications.

Requirements:

  • Substantial expertise in the 1940 Act, including the IAA and ICA.
  • Prior experience working for the SEC or a law firm specializing in this area is preferred.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
