A reputable law firm is seeking a skilled and experienced Insurance Coverage Associate Attorney to join its dynamic team in Miami, FL. This full-time, partnership-track position is ideal for an attorney with 2-5 years of experience in insurance coverage law, particularly representing policyholders or insurers, as well as handling litigation matters. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of complex insurance-related cases, interact with clients, and contribute to the firm's growing practice.

Duties:

• Represent policyholders or insurers in insurance coverage disputes, focusing on both first- and third-party insurance policies.
• Analyze and interpret complex insurance policies, addressing coverage issues and providing strategic legal advice.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs, with a focus on clear and persuasive writing.
• Participate in litigation proceedings, including depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring client needs are met efficiently and professionally.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and colleagues to develop case strategies and solutions.
• Handle pro bono matters as part of the firm’s commitment to community service.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in insurance coverage law, including litigation experience.
• Strong knowledge of insurance policy interpretation and coverage issues.
• Exceptional analytical and writing skills, with a demonstrated ability to craft compelling legal arguments.
• Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong client service orientation and the ability to manage client relationships effectively.
• Willingness to take on pro bono matters as part of the firm's mission.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Must be licensed to practice law in the state of Florida or be able to obtain licensure within one year of employment.
