Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm in Beverly Hills, CA, is seeking a dedicated and driven Personal Injury Associate Attorney. This role offers the opportunity to manage a caseload of personal injury litigation matters, participate in trials, and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation skills, a passion for client advocacy, and the ability to handle cases from inception to resolution.

Duties:

• Manage a caseload of personal injury litigation cases from initial filing to resolution.
• Conduct legal research and draft complaints, pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda.
• Attend court hearings, mediations, and trials as necessary.
• Take and defend depositions, including expert and witness depositions.
• Negotiate settlements and engage in alternative dispute resolution.
• Provide legal advice and maintain strong client relationships.
• Collaborate with opposing counsel and stakeholders to move cases forward effectively.
• Stay up to date with developments in personal injury law and relevant legal precedents.
• Assist in trial preparation, including acting as second chair and, when applicable, first chair.

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in California, in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in personal injury litigation.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Experience with depositions and trial preparation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and client management skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the California State Bar.

Skills:

• Proficient in legal research tools such as Westlaw.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
• Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide strategic legal counsel.
• Skilled in legal drafting and case management.
