Job Overview: A law firm is seeking an experienced real estate attorney to join its team in Miami, FL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate transactions, particularly in acquisition and sales transactions, land development, and financing, with a focus on the homebuilder and/or apartment developer industry.

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in real estate transactions.
  • Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to real estate matters.
  • Conduct due diligence and title examinations for property acquisitions and sales.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of real estate transactions on behalf of clients.
  • Handle closings and ensure compliance with all legal requirements.
  • Advise clients on zoning, land use regulations, and environmental issues.
  • Represent clients in real estate disputes and litigation, if necessary.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in real estate transactions.
  • Experience in acquisition and sales transactions, land development, and financing.
  • Preferred experience representing developers of single-family, multi-family, or mixed-use projects.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Membership in The Florida Bar.

Education:

  • Membership in The Florida Bar.

Skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of real estate law and regulations.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
