Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is seeking an associate with 3-5 years of relevant experience to join its Environment & Energy Practice Group. This role involves working on a variety of environmental law matters, including litigation, regulatory compliance, and transactional matters. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Federal or State environmental laws and demonstrate strong academic credentials and excellent writing skills. Candidates with litigation experience in Superfund, NRD, or toxic tort matters are preferred.

Location:

  • Philadelphia, PA

Duties:

  • Handle environmental litigation, regulatory, and transactional matters.
  • Work on cases involving Federal and State environmental laws.
  • Engage in environmental litigation related to Superfund, NRD, and toxic tort cases.
  • Provide legal advice and support on environmental compliance and regulatory matters.
  • Collaborate with team members on complex environmental law issues.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including motions and briefs.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in environmental law.
  • Experience in litigation, regulatory, or transactional matters.
  • Knowledge of Federal and State environmental laws.
  • Preference for candidates with experience in Superfund, NRD, or toxic tort litigation.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent legal degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the PA and/or NJ bar is preferred.

Skills:
