Investment Management Associate Attorney

A law firm in Portland is seeking an Investment Management Associate Attorney to provide sophisticated counsel on traditional and alternative investment transactions. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Job Details:

• Provide highly effective counsel on a broad range of traditional and alternative investment transactions to various clients, including pension funds, high net worth individuals, family offices, endowments, universities, sovereign entities, and insurance companies.
• Process large, complex documents with great attention to detail.
• Manage multiple transactions and projects simultaneously.
• Communicate effectively and negotiate on behalf of clients.
• Collaborate with colleagues as part of a team and work independently as needed.

Requirements:

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• License to practice law.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Excellent analytical and writing skills.
• Client-service approach and exceptional communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Experience:

1 to 7 years of experience in investment management, investment fund, fund formation, or related fields.
