Job Title: Real Estate Closing Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a dedicated and experienced real estate closing attorney to join its team in Charleston, SC. The ideal candidate will oversee residential and commercial real estate transactions, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for all parties involved.

Duties:

  • Oversee office residential and commercial real estate transactions, including residential and commercial sales and refinances.
  • Review title documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with lenders, brokers, agents, buyers, and sellers to facilitate real estate transactions.
  • Draft and review loan documents, including contracts, deeds, leases, and purchase and sale agreements.
  • Deliver clients a professional and engaging experience and address any lingering questions or concerns.
  • Review the disbursement ledger and sign checks.
  • Develop, cultivate, and grow business relationships for the firm.
  • Conduct training for potential clients in relevant areas of real estate law.

Requirements:

  • Residential real estate experience preferred.
  • Member of the South Carolina State Bar (in good standing).
  • Excellent and prompt verbal/written communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
  • Self-starter, capable of community involvement and achieving results.
  • Growth-minded, with a residential focus.
  • Strong work ethic demonstrated in academics and work history.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
