Job Overview: A law firm specializing in litigation seeks an Antitrust Litigation Associate Attorney to join its team in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in antitrust law, excellent writing skills, and at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on antitrust issues.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Assist in deposition preparation and conduct witness interviews.
  • Manage discovery processes, including document review and production.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys in trial preparation and strategy.
  • Attend hearings, mediations, and other court proceedings as required.
  • Provide legal advice and support to clients on antitrust compliance matters.
  • Stay updated on developments in antitrust laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the California State Bar in good standing.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in antitrust litigation at a reputable law firm.
  • Strong understanding of antitrust laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with complex commercial litigation cases involving antitrust issues.
  • Clerkship experience in federal or state court.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw or LexisNexis.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
