Job Title: Associate Attorney – Litigation

A reputable law firm, representing a diverse range of practice areas, is seeking an Associate Attorney with 1-5 years of litigation experience for its Boulder, CO office. The role offers an exciting opportunity to engage in high-level work across several practice areas, including securities litigation, commercial litigation, and professional liability defense. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong writing and analytical abilities, and experience in securities law is considered a plus.

Duties:

• Manage and handle multiple litigation cases simultaneously, ensuring efficient progress.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, and discovery documents for submission to opposing parties promptly.
• Participate in mediations, depositions, and hearings, providing support and representation.
• Develop strategies and arguments based on case analysis to effectively present to clients and at trial.
• Provide direct client communication, addressing concerns and providing legal guidance.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate best practices for case management and client relations.
• Maintain accurate records of billable hours by firm guidelines.
• Ensure timely completion of projects, meeting deadlines set by clients and partners.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1-5 years of litigation experience (preferred).
• Strong background in drafting dispositive motions, including summary judgment motions.
• Experience with trial preparation and mediation is a bonus.
• Proficiency in federal and state civil procedure rules.
• Solid writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to handle a high caseload efficiently.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Colorado (required).

Skills:

• Litigation and dispute resolution expertise.
