The ideal candidate will have experience in family law litigation, be comfortable in court, and possess strong organizational and communication skills. The position requires membership in good standing with the State Bar of California and proficiency in relevant computer applications.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, and spousal support cases.
  • Handle all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Prepare and present cases in court, including participating in hearings, trials, and mediations.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare detailed legal memoranda and reports.
  • Develop case strategies and provide legal advice to clients on family law issues.
  • Manage case files, track deadlines, and ensure compliance with procedural requirements.
  • Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and exceptional service.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Membership in good standing with the State Bar of California.
  • Experience in family law litigation and comfort with courtroom proceedings.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Membership in the California State Bar.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in handling family law matters and litigation.
  • Strong understanding of family law regulations and court procedures.
  • Excellent legal research and writing capabilities.
