Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is seeking a skilled and experienced IP Litigation Associate Attorney to join their dynamic team. This position involves handling various aspects of intellectual property litigation, including case management, expert collaboration, and trial preparation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex litigation matters and mentoring junior staff.

Duties:

  • Manage and oversee IP litigation cases, ensuring effective strategy development and execution.
  • Draft and file motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Take and defend depositions as part of case preparation.
  • Collaborate with experts to build compelling cases.
  • Represent clients in PTAB and trial proceedings.
  • Supervise and mentor junior associates and paralegals.
  • Manage case timelines, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in intellectual property litigation.
  • Proven ability to manage litigation cases from start to finish.
  • Experience in briefing, motions practice, and taking depositions.
  • Strong record of trial and PTAB experience.
  • Ability to work with experts and manage complex case details.
  • Must be licensed to practice law in Tennessee or able to obtain licensure promptly.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admittance to the USPTO is preferred (for candidates with an engineering background).

Skills:

  • Outstanding written and oral communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases effectively.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
