Senior Criminal Defense Attorney

Location:

Duties:

• Advise clients on their legal rights and draft relevant legal documents
• Represent clients in pretrial hearings and provide strategic advice after each hearing
• Manage court appearances, trial preparation, and motion drafting
• Interview witnesses and conduct legal research to build strong case strategies
• Analyze probable case outcomes using knowledge of legal precedents
• Manage a caseload effectively and ensure timely progress
• Provide legal analysis to help clients understand potential case benefits
• Gather additional evidence to support the client’s defense or challenge the prosecution's case
• Prepare clients for depositions and gather key information from witnesses and experts to support case strategy

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4-5 years of Criminal Defense experience
• Experience handling complex criminal cases at federal, state, and local levels
• Strong team player who collaborates well with colleagues
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in California
