Business Litigation Attorney

A law firm in Minneapolis, MN, is seeking an experienced Business Litigation Attorney to join their team. The candidate will collaborate closely with current business litigation attorneys to handle a variety of general business litigation matters on behalf of multiple clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in general business litigation matters.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Handle discovery, including document production and review.
• Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Collaborate with clients, attorneys, and support staff to strategize case management.
• Maintain accurate and timely case records and billable hours.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school in the United States.
• Admission to practice law in the state of Minnesota.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience handling general business and commercial litigation matters.
• Strong knowledge of Minnesota state and federal court rules and procedures.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
