Senior Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:

A law firm is seeking a Maryland-barred Senior Litigation Attorney with extensive experience in civil defense litigation. Location:

Duties:

• Represent clients in all phases of litigation, including:
  • General liability cases.
  • Professional liability claims.
  • Employment-related disputes.
• Manage cases from initiation to trial.
• Counsel clients on complex legal issues.
• Handle matters involving casualty, construction defect, labor and employment, medical malpractice, and other general liability coverage areas.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of litigation experience.
• Active license to practice law in Maryland and/or Washington, D.C.
• Strong writing and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Bar admission in Maryland and/or Washington, D.C.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Proficiency in Lexis software for legal research.
• Strong litigation skills with experience in:
  • Casualty.
  • Construction defect.
  • Professional liability.
  • Labor and employment.
  • Medical malpractice.
• Ability to manage and strategize complex legal cases.
