Associate Attorney needed for Tallahassee office

A highly respected AV-rated insurance defense litigation firm in Tallahassee, FL, is seeking an Associate Attorney with a minimum of 2 years of experience. This full-time position offers the opportunity to defend personal injury and wrongful death cases while working in a supportive environment that values professional development and mentoring. Trial experience is preferred but not required.

Duties:

• Defend personal injury and wrongful death claims in litigation.
• Conduct depositions and manage discovery processes.
• Prepare cases for trial, including drafting motions and legal documents.
• Engage in legal research and draft detailed legal opinions.
• Work closely with senior attorneys to develop case strategies.
• Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, and other legal proceedings.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.
• Comfortable with depositions and trial preparation.
• Ability to manage discovery matters independently.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Florida Bar in good standing.
