Reporting to the Managing Criminal Defense Attorney, the Associate Attorney will manage a diverse caseload while collaborating with a team of skilled attorneys and legal assistants.

Duties:

• Advise clients on legal rights and draft relevant case documents.
• Represent clients at pretrial hearings and provide strategic advice post-hearing.
• Handle court appearances, draft motions, interview witnesses, and conduct legal research.
• Analyze case outcomes using knowledge of legal precedents.
• Prepare legal analyses for clients, outlining potential case benefits.
• Collect and evaluate evidence to strengthen client cases or counter-prosecution arguments.
• Prepare clients for depositions and develop case strategies based on witness and expert testimonies.
• Manage a diverse caseload efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in criminal defense.
• Expertise in handling complex criminal cases at federal, state, and local levels.
• Strong interpersonal skills and dedication to client service.
• Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate and strategize with fellow associates.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar in Nevada.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Nevada State Bar.
