Duties

  • Litigation Management

    • Handle complex commercial disputes, including shareholder disagreements and internal investigations.
    • Represent clients in all phases of litigation, from pre-trial strategy to post-trial motions and appeals.
    • Manage multiple, high-level litigation assignments, ensuring timely and thoughtful execution of tasks.
  • Case Preparation and Strategy

    • Prepare and draft legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and discovery requests.
    • Work closely with senior attorneys to develop strategies for high-profile cases.
  • Client Interaction

    • Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and strategic advice.
    • Develop client relationships while ensuring excellent service and professional guidance throughout legal proceedings.
  • Collaboration

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other attorneys within the firm to ensure cohesive case management.
    • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior attorneys and paralegals.
  • Research and Analysis

    • Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies.
    • Stay current with developments in business litigation, corporate law, and industry trends.
  • Other Responsibilities

    • Assist in business development efforts by contributing to marketing and client pitches.
    • Support senior attorneys in ad-hoc tasks as required.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in business litigation, including experience in shareholder disputes, white-collar litigation, and internal investigations.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, capable of producing high-quality legal work under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated academic excellence from an accredited law school.
  • Experience in handling complex legal issues with a high degree of professionalism and attention to detail.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active membership in the relevant state bar.

  • Proficient in complex litigation matters, including discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
