Project Finance Associate Attorney

A law firm is seeking a Project Finance Associate Attorney in New York City. The ideal candidate should have 2+ years of experience, preferably including experience with project development and/or finance, and should be admitted to the Bar.

Job Overview:

The Project Finance Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal support and advice on project finance matters. The role will involve working closely with clients and other attorneys to structure and execute project finance transactions.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis related to project finance transactions.
• Draft and review transactional documents, including financing agreements, project agreements, and security documents.
• Assist in due diligence review for project finance transactions.
• Work with clients to identify legal issues and provide strategic advice.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals involved in project finance deals.
• Assist in negotiations with counterparties and lenders.
• Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting project finance transactions.
• Attend meetings and conference calls with clients and stakeholders.
• Assist in the preparation of client presentations and materials.
• Handle administrative tasks related to project finance matters.

Requirements:

• Admission to the Bar.
• 2+ years of legal experience.
• Experience with project development and/or finance preferred.

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Bar admission in New York.
