A law firm seeks a skilled Family Law Attorney to join its team in San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in family law, with a focus on managing multiple cases in a fast-paced environment. This position offers the opportunity to represent clients in complex family law matters while working in a supportive and organized legal team.

Duties:

  • Draft and prepare essential family law documents, including pleadings, Requests for Orders, ex parte motions, discovery, client declarations, stipulations, and temporary restraining orders.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case strategies, including reviewing statutes, case law, opinions, and briefs.
  • Manage correspondence and communication with clients, opposing counsel, and expert witnesses.
  • Represent clients in family law matters in court, ensuring their interests are vigorously advocated.
  • Maintain meticulous records and ensure accuracy in legal filings.
  • Handle multiple cases simultaneously with a high level of organization and attention to detail.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the California State Bar.
  • Proven experience handling family law matters, with a demonstrated ability to manage a caseload efficiently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • California State Bar License (Required).
  • Certified Family Law Specialist (Preferred, but not required).

  • Expertise in family law and relevant legal procedures.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
