This position requires proficiency in negotiating settlements, legal research, motion drafting, and appearing for arbitration and motion hearings. The attorney will be responsible for handling a caseload of personal injury cases, providing client support, and representing clients in legal proceedings.

Duties:

• Represent clients in personal injury cases from initiation through trial.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers.
• Conduct legal research and draft motions.
• Meet with clients and answer interrogatories.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Appear for arbitration and motion hearings.
• Manage a caseload in a fast-paced environment.
• Provide excellent client service and communicate case status updates.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury law.
• Proven trial experience in personal injury cases.
• Proficiency in negotiating settlements with insurance carriers.
• Ability to handle a high caseload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong legal research and motion drafting skills.
• Experience in taking and defending depositions.
• Ability to appear in arbitration and motion hearings.
• Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Bar License in New Jersey (Required).
