Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm in Minneapolis is currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated IP Litigation Associate Attorney to join their growing Intellectual Property Litigation team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile regional, national, and international IP disputes. The ideal candidate will bring 1-3 years of experience in patent litigation and possess a passion for legal challenges in the field of intellectual property.

Duties:

• Represent clients in complex intellectual property litigation matters, including patent disputes.
• Assist in drafting legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and discovery responses.
• Participate in case strategy discussions and offer input for legal research and analysis.
• Prepare for and attend hearings, trials, and depositions.
• Work closely with senior attorneys and other team members to deliver high-quality service to clients.
• Manage multiple cases simultaneously while ensuring adherence to deadlines and client expectations.
• Provide support in client meetings and develop strong client relationships.

Requirements:

• At least 1-3 years of experience in intellectual property litigation, preferably in patent law.
• Active Minnesota law license in good standing.
• Strong analytical and writing abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
• A keen attention to detail and the ability to handle complex legal issues effectively.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Minnesota State Bar.

Skills:

• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Ability to analyze complex legal issues and apply critical thinking.
• Experience drafting and reviewing legal documents, including motions and pleadings.
• Excellent client management and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
