Junior Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm is seeking two Junior Commercial Litigation Associates with 1 to 3 years of litigation experience to join their dynamic litigation practice in Los Angeles, CA. The associates will handle a variety of commercial litigation matters, including consumer class action defense, unfair competition, and cross-border disputes. Location:

Duties:

• Draft correspondence, briefs, and motions in commercial litigation cases.
• Conduct fact discovery, including document review, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Work primarily on consumer litigation, including class action defense, unfair competition, and disputes involving manufacturers, retailers, and financial services.
• Handle international disputes, including cross-border arbitration and domestic litigation.
• Collaborate with teams across various practice groups, including investigations, white-collar defense, and general commercial litigation.
• Manage multiple overlapping projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• 1 to 3 years of litigation experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven track record of academic and professional excellence.
• Excellent project management, research, analytical, and writing skills.
• Ability to multitask and handle multiple deadlines.
• Experience in depositions and trial preparation is a plus.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the California Bar, in good standing.
