Location:

Duties:

  • Manage a large caseload of family-based immigration cases, with a focus on T visas and VAWA applications.
  • Provide legal counsel to clients, primarily undocumented immigrants from Mexico and Central America.
  • Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and develop strategic case plans to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Lead and manage a team of legal professionals to maintain high standards in case filings.
  • Represent clients in immigration proceedings and advocate on their behalf before relevant authorities.
  • Stay updated on immigration law developments and implement innovative legal strategies to overcome complex challenges.
  • Ensure excellent communication and customer service to clients throughout the legal process.

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in the United States.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in immigration law, with expertise in family-based immigration, T visas, and VAWA.
  • Strong commitment to humanitarian immigration law and a passion for serving disadvantaged communities.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and case management skills.
  • Leadership and team management experience with the ability to handle a high volume of cases.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, team members, and legal authorities.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the United States and in good standing.
