Duties

• Defend complex wage and hour litigation cases, with a focus on class action lawsuits

• Draft and respond to written discovery with minimal oversight

• Conduct depositions and handle motions related to discovery disputes

• Develop and implement discovery strategies

• Draft legal documents, including oppositions to motions for class certification

• Analyze and interpret wage and hour regulations, including overtime and break period requirements

• Interact with clients to provide strategic guidance and updates throughout the litigation process

• Ensure timely communication and maintain a professional rapport with clients

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of litigation experience, specifically in wage and hour defense

• Demonstrated expertise in class action defense and complex case management

• Proficiency in both state and federal employment law frameworks

• Ability to manage multiple matters with limited supervision

• History of successfully handling depositions and motion practice

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

• Admission to the California State Bar
