Senior Personal Injury Attorney

A law firm seeks a Senior Personal Injury Attorney to take on a leadership role in handling high-value personal injury cases. Duties

• Manage and lead personal injury cases, from initial filing to final resolution, including trial preparation, mediations, and court representation.
• Mentor junior attorneys, providing guidance, sharing litigation strategies, and fostering professional growth.
• Draft and review essential legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and responses.
• Represent clients in court hearings, arguing motions, and advocating for favorable outcomes.
• Stay informed on updates to state, local, and federal statutes to ensure compliance and deliver the best legal counsel.
• Collaborate with fellow senior attorneys to refine legal strategies and uphold the highest standards of client service.
• Conduct legal research to support case development and strategy.
• Attend trials, mediations, and arbitration hearings on behalf of clients.
• Review and manage all case documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in managing personal injury cases, with a focus on trial work and mediation.
• Strong leadership abilities with a demonstrated history of mentoring junior attorneys and working effectively within a team.
• Proven ability to independently manage a caseload while maintaining exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a client-focused approach.
• Ability to handle a significant caseload with minimal supervision while ensuring the quality of legal work.
• Knowledge of personal injury law, legal proceedings, and case management practices.

Education

• A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• A 4-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

Certifications

• Must be licensed to practice law in Colorado and in good standing with the Colorado State Bar.
